Our fourth graders were treated to brilliant blue skies and warm temperatures for their annual Rocket Launch on November 4, 2011. Students worked hard for many weeks learning about force, velocity and friction in preparation for this big day. Students constructed their rockets during their science time with Mrs. Dunn and Mrs. Doble along with many parent volunteers. The science center’s Ms. Pavelick and Mr. Musselman were on hand for the big day to further inform students about the properties and influences of force, velocity and friction and to celebrate their rocket launch. The students had a great time, were excellent spectators and supporters of each other.
