Fox Hill School is Growing a Garden

Cute_gardening_kids (1)Fox Hill School is very excited about developing a school garden.   Fox Hill is asking support from Fox Hill families to make our garden a reality for our children.  In that spirit, the Fox Hill Garden Committee will host an informational and planning meeting on April 3, 2014 at 6:30pm in the Fox Hill School Library.

At this meeting I will share the budget, the design of the garden project, the connection to curriculum, and a sign up sheet for volunteers to prepare the garden site, build the garden, care for the garden during the summer months and share ideas to ensure its future success.  This is a wonderful authentic learning opportunity for Fox Hill students.  Please join me on April 3, 2014 at 6:30pm to find out how you can lend a hand to help our garden grow.

  1. I would like to be involved but I cannot make the meeting tonight. Will there be another informational session that we can attend, given the short notice of this meeting? If not, please pass my name and email along to the committee – Thank you!

    • Yes, we plan to have another informational and sign up garden meeting. Once I have a day and time, I will post to the blog and include the information in the parent newsletter. I am sorry you missed the first letter sent in March. I am very excited about the interest in this project and look forward to your participation and support. I will definitely add you to the list!
