On Monday evening we had a great parent turnout at our homework presentation. Our teachers did a great job sharing their expertise and their time. The biggest take-away was that communication about homework is important! Homework is worthwhile when it is purposeful, meaningful and when it is done within appropriate time frames. Anytime any parent has a question about the purpose or length of homework, that parent is encouraged to contact the teacher to clarify information and to ask questions about homework. Our teachers want to hear from you and want to support your efforts at home. We encourage and welcome communication because communication builds positive relationships and strengthens connections. I am appreciative of our teachers and the parents who attended our homework presentation Monday night. It was a great collaborative and meaningful evening. Happy Thanksgiving to the Fox Hill Community! We are grateful for all the beautiful and wonderful children we work with every day! Everyone of them is simply amazing!
