Our Fall Festival was on October 20th and it was a huge success. The kids came dressed in their Halloween costumes, there was music, the cake walk, the haunted hallway, snow cones and loads of fun! It was fun connecting with families and kids and everyone had a great time! Special, special thanks to all parents who participated in some way to make this Fall Festival special for kids. Also, thank you to David Daley, Morgan Festa, Kendall Bennett, Natalie Stone and Caitlin Keefe who attended the Fall Festival pitching in scooping snow cones and monitoring the cakewalk! They were exceptional! Again, thank you to all who work to make our Fox Hill community special!
MCAS student reports were received last week and mailed out to families with children in grades 3, 4, and 5. Parents can expect to receive their child’s report early this week. If any parent has any question about MCAS scores, please feel free to contact me. Below are two letters, one from Mr. Larkin and the other from the commissioner of education. Any parent interested in viewing MCAS scores for schools and districts can use this link: MCAS Scores-Burlington.

Mr. Murphy is looking for a few parent volunteers to help re-shelve books in the library on any day and time that may be convenient for you. If you have a particular availability on a weekly basis, please email Mr. Murphy. Please note that before you can volunteer, you would have needed to attend one of the Parent Volunteer Orientation Meetings. In addition, a CORI must be on file in the school office. Thank you for your time and help.
Message from the Nurse
The Nurse could still use some clothes for the office. She is looking for small sizes for the smaller kids. Underwear, socks and elastic waist pants are the best. Any donations would be appreciated.
Box Tops Collection!
Remember to clip your box tops and glue or tape onto the collection sheets. Use collection sheets (preferred) or marked bags of 50. Copies of the collection sheets are in the school office or may be downloaded from the link.
